When heated, the Wood Clay will burn completely and only your creation remains. Wood Clay therefore also makes it possible to make jewelry with a hollow interior. The wood clay is an environmentally friendly product made from recycled wood waste from pencil production.
Hearty air dry clay is lightweight and flexible. This brilliant white clay does not stick to your fingers yet it will stick to core materials like wood, glass, wire, paper and plastic. It can be tinted with acrylic paints to create original colors.
Wood clay is safe to use, as it creates non-toxic fumes when it burns out. It's self-drying, and dries at room temperature for 3 days. Or, if you're short on time, place it in a dehydrator for several hours.
Clays are used for making pottery, both utilitarian and decorative, and construction products, such as bricks, walls, and floor tiles. Different types of clay, when used with different minerals and firing conditions, are used to produce earthenware, stoneware, and porcelain.
