Borax is one of the important mineral compounds and the salt of boric acid, which is a white powder and completely soluble in water. This substance is used in the production of detergents, cosmetic products and glazing. It is also used in the production of fire extinguishing powder, biochemistry, antifungal compounds, fiberglass and in metallurgy industries.

Borax

Borax has different types of waterproofing, the most important of which is decahydrate. Of course, this material is sold industrially in anhydrous and dry form. Chemically, it has the formulation Na 2 B 4 O 7  and can be used to produce boric acid and other borates. To produce boric acid, the reaction of borax with hydrochloric acid is used.
