RNX plus is a Guanidine / phenol solution for total RNA isolation from homogenized sample. Through the action of
Guanidine salt in RNA isolation procedure, simultaneously DNA and protein are precipitated in phenol phase.Aqueous phase contains high quality and all types of the genomic RNA

In this RNX plus kit, using guanidium salt causes simultaneous precipitation of DNA and protein in the phenol phase. The supernatant phase is separated and contains high quality RNA.

The solution contains phenol / guanidine for extracting total RNA from different samples.
tissue harvest
The first stage of RNA extraction is during which the tissue in question is separated from the tissue collection of the body, and for this purpose, proteases can be used. Sometimes, in the laboratory environment, there are prepared tissues at the bottom of the flask, which trypsin and EDTA are used to separate them  .
Homogenization
In the second step, RNA and other cell components must be removed from the membrane barrier, for this purpose, the cell assembly must be destroyed and a homogeneous mixture obtained. RNX-Plus or Trizol are used at this stage.
Phase separation
In this step, RNA is separated from DNA and cellular proteins. After adding chloroform to the sample, it is centrifuged under special conditions  , which results in three separated phases at the end. The lower phase is related to proteins, the middle phase is related to DNA, and the upper phase is related to RNA.
RNA precipitation
In this step, after transferring the supernatant phase to another tube, using isopropanol  and then centrifugation, we precipitate the RNA.
RNA washing
The washing of the RNA precipitate using 75% ethanol  constitutes the fifth step.
Note: In DNA extraction, washing is done with 70% alcohol, but in RNA extraction with 75% alcohol.
Solubilization of RNA
The dissolution of RNA sediment using DEPC treated water is the sixth step of RNA extraction
RNA analysis
The last step is to measure the accuracy of RNA extraction, which is evaluated by spectroscopic  or  electrophoresis , the quantity or the quality of the work.
