Application :
Alkaline electrode with replacement of about 115%, which creates a weld free of cracks and pitting. The appearance of the weld is clean and without cuts on the side of the weld. This electrode is for welding steels with high carbon (about 0.4%). Its weld is of high quality according to the radiographic test. It is quite suitable.

Some reactive electrodes include zinc, copper, lead, and silver. An inert electrode is a type of electrode which does not participate in a chemical reaction. Some commonly used inert electrodes include platinum, gold, graphite(carbon), and rhodium.
This article throws light upon the four types of electrode used in electrochemical techniques. The four types of electrode are: (1) The pH Electrode (2) Ion Selective and Gas Sensing Electrodes (3) The Clark Oxygen Electrode and (4) The Leaf Disc Electrode.
In general, an electrode is an electrical conductor which makes contact with a non-metallic part of a circuit. In a battery, the electrodes connect the battery terminals to the electrolyte. The electrode at the positive terminal is known as the cathode and the electrode at the negative terminal is known as the anode.
