A deep fryer (also referred to as a deep fat fryer) is a kitchen appliance used for deep frying. Deep frying is a method of cooking by submerging food into oil at high heat, typically between temperatures of 350 to 375 °F (177 to 191 °C).
For busy kitchens that rely on the deep fryer, we recommend filtering oil at least twice per day. This might sound like a lot, but the truth is you shouldn't wait days between filtering — food quality suffers too much. Consistent filtration is the most important step in extending the life of your fryer oil.
