Socks for climbing

Whichever socks you use, the most important thing is that they aren't really thick. Lightweight athletic socks are a good alternative, with our personal favorite being the Icebreaker Multisport Ultralight
Not Wearing Socks -Better Sensitivity: Most climbers (especially pro climbers) prefer not to wear socks because it allows for better sensitivity and connection to the rock (or holds) you're climbing on. -Precision: Climbing shoe manufacturers design their shoes to be worn without socks
The Lifting Sock is an asset for performance and increased weightlifting gains in the gym and acts as a shin guard to protect shins against abrasions from weight or dead lift bars.
