PTB Group was originally founded by the late Mr. Seyed Mehdi Kahnemoui as Perse Transport Bar (PTB), a Transport company mainly focused on import/export of cargo from/to Europe and Iran.
Seyed Mehdi Kahnemoui Established in 1961 as 100% privately owned firm, Perse has been one of the front runners in the field of Iranian international transportation and logistics market with more than 450 skilled staff, operating through 15 own branch offices at border points and main Iranian cities, thanks to the Group's over 300'000 sqm of private bonded terminals and warehousing facilities in Bandar Abbas, Tehran and 23 agent offices through out the country.
Pioneer of containerisation and traffic to Iran by land and sea bridge (Trans Siberian Rail Service 1971 and first Container Deep Sea liner service to Bandar Imam Khomeini 1975)
Initiating truck and rail transportation via Turkey.
Setting up customs bonded services between Jolfa (Iranian-Ex-Soviet border) and Tehran
Establishing export services through Jolfa to Europe
